ASRC Federal NetCentric is seeking a Senior Budget Analyst to support the Department of Homeland Security Federal Protective Services Administrative and Program Support Services in Bren Mar, Virginia. This is an on-site position.

Job Description

The Senior Budget Analyst will assist FPS with managing revenue and expenses related to security fees.

Job Duties
  • Mentor and oversee junior staff and SME support to the government customer.
  • Analyze revenue processes including estimation, billing, collection, aged receivables, obligations, expenditures, and monthly close-outs.
  • Recommend improvements for revenue oversight in the Zone.
  • Prepare monthly analyses comparing collected versus billed amounts and coordinate collection efforts with HQ FMD and Burlington Finance Center.
  • Coordinate with HQ FPS on billing questions and related issues.
  • Respond to FPS customer questions with analysis and solutions.
  • Collaborate with regional and HQ revenue teams to improve revenue reporting.
  • Lead documentation efforts for migration to G-Invoicing, including process documentation, improvements, customer communication, and workload analysis.
  • Maintain accurate budget files for assigned contracts.
  • Create desktop guides for revenue processes.
  • Develop a Budget Execution Tracking Tool for obligations, funding, spending, revenue, and burn rates.
  • Assist with customer billing issues and reconcile outstanding issues.
  • Reconcile financial and contract data systems.
  • Prepare the Open Commitment Report for monthly meetings.
  • Monitor the contract modification and requisition inboxes in MS Outlook.
Job Qualifications
Experience
  • 5 to 8 years of relevant experience, including G-Invoicing, Excel proficiency, and ability to use formulas, Vlookup, MATCH, and pivot tables.
Education

Relevant educational background required.

Clearance Level
  • Employment contingent upon DHS suitability clearance.
Work Environment
  • On-site only, business casual attire.
