Job summary

CoinDesk Inc. is seeking a BSA/AML Officer with deep blockchain compliance expertise to play a key role in the expansion of our regulated US digital currency trading business.

You will support spot, derivative, and tokenized securities activities from our NYC office, reporting to the US Chief Compliance Officer, and coordinating with multiple regulators. The role involves leading BSA/AML and OFAC programs, building controls, conducting investigations, and training staff to foster a compliant

Qualifications

• Experience in financial crime, BSA/AML, AML, financial crime investigations, or risk management.
• Experience managing regulatory examinations and relationships with examiners (e.g., NYDFS, FINRA, NFA, SEC, CFTC).
• Knowledge of BSA, USA PATRIOT Act, OFAC, and SEC/CFTC/FINRA/NFA rules.

Responsibilities

• Lead BSA/AML & Sanctions oversight for tokenized securities, derivatives, and spot crypto trading.
• Maintain risk-based BSA/AML and OFAC policies and procedures.
• Oversee regulatory reporting to FinCEN, SEC, CFTC, FINRA, NFA, NYDFS.
• Train Bullish staff on key policies and prevent financial crime.
• Translate on-chain activity into actionable findings for investigations.
