Job summary

Axiom Recruit is seeking a Chief Compliance Officer & BSA/AML Officer to build and lead the compliance programme for a new digital asset banking operation in the US. The role involves establishing regulatory frameworks, building a team, and guiding the integration of digital assets with traditional banking in a highly regulated setting.

Responsibilities include owning AML, KYC, CDD/EDD, and regulatory reporting; engaging with OCC, FinCEN, and other regulators; and selecting crypto transaction

Qualifications

• 10+ years of US financial services compliance experience.
• Direct BSA/AML programme ownership in OCC-supervised settings.
• Hands-on leader building compliance in pre-opening environments.

Responsibilities

• Build the bank's compliance and BSA/AML programmes from the ground up.
• Lead engagement with the OCC, FinCEN and other regulators.
• Own AML, KYC, CDD, EDD and regulatory reporting.
• Select and implement blockchain analytics and crypto transaction monitoring solutions.
• Work with product and engineering to embed compliance into digital asset products.
• Build and lead the compliance team and report to the Board Risk & Compliance Committee.
