Job summary

Achieva Credit Union is seeking a Sr BSA/AML Analyst to work with the BSA Officer to administer the program and ensure compliance with federal regulations. You will analyze transactions, identify red flags, and refer cases for investigation, while assisting with Verafin workflows and annual training.

The role requires hands-on monitoring of high- and medium-risk accounts, development of enhanced due diligence, and collaboration across departments to support enterprise security and fraud

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5-7 years’ experience with ACH, merchant services, domestic wires, third party checks or cash vault.
• 5-7 years’ experience with Bank Secrecy Act/ Anti Money Laundering laws and regulations.
• 3-5 year’s leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality control reviews in the area of BSA/AML compliance using regulatory guidance.
• Review Customer Information Files and other lists for compliance.
• Ensure compliance with AML, BSA information security and SAR requirements.
• Follow account opening procedures and suspicious activity referral processes.
