Job summary

Credit Union of Atlanta is seeking a BSA Risk Compliance Analyst to manage and enhance the BSA/AML and OFAC compliance programs. You will monitor suspicious activity, process CTRs and SARs, and support regulatory examinations with meticulous documentation.

The role involves collaboration with the Collections Department and leadership to ensure risk controls and timely reporting. Strong knowledge of regulations and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in risk/control/compliance with BSA/AML and OFAC regulations.
• Familiarity with USA PATRIOT Act rules and financial services compliance.
• Strong written and verbal communication; detail-oriented and organized.

Responsibilities

• Monitor BSA/AML, OFAC, and Red Flag alerts; maintain and update reports.
• Process CTRs, SARs, and related regulatory filings.
• Assist with examinations and regulatory inquiries; prepare communications for the Board.
• Investigate suspicious activity and coordinate with collections on nonperforming accounts.
• Support Verafin monitoring and daily activity reviews; maintain policy documentation.
