Job summary

Sunflower Bank, N.A. in Santa Fe, NM seeks an energetic BSA AML Analyst III to strengthen our compliance team. You will analyze complex AML/KYC issues, monitor suspicious activity, and ensure adherence to BSA/AML regulations, OFAC, and related guidelines.

The ideal candidate has knowledge of banking regulations, strong investigative skills, and experience with Actimize or similar systems. We offer competitive salary and benefits in a community-focused bank.

Qualifications

• The applicant must possess extensive knowledge of Bank Secrecy Act, US PATRIOT Act, Money Laundering controls and related regulations.
• Minimum two years in BSA, Fraud, and/or Audit environments with strong investigative skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex AML/KYC issues and identify patterns indicating potential money laundering or terrorist financing.
• Monitor system alerts, research large data sets, and determine disposition of activity.
• Prepare data for eFiling and assist with BSA reporting and recordkeeping.
