Sunflower Bank, N.A. in Santa Fe, NM seeks an energetic BSA AML Analyst III to perform due diligence, investigate alerts, and support regulatory reporting. This lead role applies BSA/AML policies and guides other analysts.

The position offers growth opportunities within a strong community-focused bank. The role requires AML/KYC knowledge, analytical and investigative skills, and experience with Actimize or similar systems.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of Bank Secrecy Act, US PATRIOT Act, Money Laundering Control Act, OFAC regulations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Management, Economics or similar.
• At least two years of experience within a BSA, Fraud, and/or Audit environment.
• Certifications such as CAMS, CFE, CPA, CIA, CRCM, PMP, or related certifications.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Extensive investigative and research skills.
• Experience with Actimize or similar automated monitoring system.
• Experience with SQL/Hyperion.

Responsabilités

• Perform AML/KYC due diligence and SAR investigations.
• Clear AMS alerts and maintain BSA reporting and recordkeeping.
• Apply regulatory concepts and explain them across the company.
• Assist other analysts and provide guidance as needed.
• Ensure compliance with BSA/AML laws and company policies.
