Job summary

WSP is seeking an experienced professional to lead our California BRT business development and deliver multi-project engagements from concept through construction. You will guide technical teams, coordinate with agencies, and drive successful outcomes for large-scale transit programs.

The role requires 12+ years in transit projects, a Civil Engineering degree, and strong collaboration with diverse stakeholders while upholding safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead California BRT business development and strategic initiatives in areas such as Sacramento and West Sacramento.
• Serve as a technical expert on BRT projects across all phases, from concept to construction to revenue service.
• Manage multi-disciplinary teams to deliver medium ($1 million) to large contracts ($50 million).
• Manage contract negotiations, scope and fee development, project setup, subcontracts, change management, and reviews.
• Mentor and train staff in BRT best practices and contribute to business development.
