Job summary

E-Logic is seeking a Broadcast Master Control Room Operator to manage live broadcast operations, signal routing, and cloud-based video workflows supporting the U.S. Department of State. This role ensures reliable delivery of live and recorded multimedia content.

The position is on-site in Washington, DC, with security requirements including MRPT. You will operate MCR systems, monitor broadcasts, configure IP video, and support scheduling and distribution of content.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Engineering, IT, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of professional broadcast operations experience.
• Experience with broadcast routing systems, cloud video platforms, SDI/HD-SDI, IP video, and master control operations.
• Experience using Blackbird or similar cloud editing platforms.

Responsibilities

• Operate broadcast master control systems.
• Manage video routing, encoders/decoders, and cloud workflows.
• Monitor live broadcasts and resolve operational issues.
• Configure IP-based video systems and streaming infrastructure.
• Support production scheduling and content distribution.
