Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a seasoned Broadcast Engineer to maintain and support broadcast, studio, RF transmission, automation, and digital distribution systems ensuring reliable day-to-day operations. You'll troubleshoot IP-based infrastructure, firewalls, VPNs, and monitoring tools across multiple facilities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in broadcast engineering or related technical field.
• Strong knowledge of broadcast systems, RF, studio operations, and digital workflows.
• Experience supporting IP-connected infrastructure (switches, routers, VPNs, DNS, NTP, SNMP).
• Ability to work varied hours, including nights and weekends.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot broadcast and IT infrastructure to ensure reliable operations.
• Support IP-based broadcast infrastructure, switches, routers, VLANs, and monitoring tools.
• Respond to outages and on-call incidents across multiple sites.
• Plan upgrades, maintenance, and modernization projects.
