Job summary

Asana is seeking a Compensation Business Partner focused on Broad-Based Compensation to lead core compensation strategy for the general employee population. You will shape market positioning, evolve pay philosophy, and drive decisions impacting thousands of employees, with a hybrid in-office schedule in San Francisco.

The role requires 8-10+ years in global compensation, strong analytical skills, and experience with Workday Advanced Compensation and survey tools.

Qualifications

8-10+ years of progressive global compensation experience.
Experience designing pay philosophy and salary structures.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
Proven ability to translate analyses into actionable recommendations.
Expertise in Workday Advanced Compensation and survey tools (Radford, Pave, Compa).
Excellent communication and storytelling for business leaders.

Responsibilities

Own the compensation strategy and end-to-end design for annual merit and focal reviews.
Define market positioning and pay philosophy across functions and levels.
Lead evolution of job architecture and leveling consistency at scale.
Drive pay equity framework and executive-level reporting.
Serve as senior advisor to People Partners, Recruiters, and leaders on complex decisions.
Lead compensation communications and manager enablement across the org.
