Asana is seeking an experienced Compensation professional to lead global merit and market pricing cycles from San Francisco. You will partner with People Partners, Talent Acquisition, and Finance to calibrate budgets, ensure equity and competitiveness, and maintain a robust job catalog in Workday.

This role blends data-driven decision making with strategic advisory support across the company. You will own workshop-level modeling, pay equity analyses, and communication materials to reinforce

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of progressive global compensation experience.
• Ability to own and run complex compensation cycles (merit, market refresh, pay equity).
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with advanced spreadsheet proficiency.
• Experience with Workday Advanced Compensation, Pave, Radford, and Compa.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end merit and focal review cycle, modeling budget scenarios and calibration.
• Own job matching and market pricing across functions; maintain salary structures.
• Collaborate to evaluate roles, establish leveling consistency, and maintain the job catalog in Workday.
• Conduct pay equity analyses and monitor progress against equity goals for leadership reports.
• Serve as compensation advisor to People Partners and Recruiters with offer guidance and retention insights.
• Assist with broad-based equity grants planning and budgeting with Finance.
