Job summary

Ferrovial is seeking a field maintenance technician to perform repairs on highway structures, including concrete and steel elements, while ensuring safety and proper MOT procedures. The role involves working at height, handling traffic controls, and coordinating with crews across sites.

Responsibilities include maintaining bridges, culverts, and related infrastructure, with availability for emergency rotations and after-hours work as needed. A hands-on, safety-conscious candidate will excel.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of structures maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair highway structures including concrete, steel, welding, joints, carpentry and painting.
• Set up and remove traffic controls devices to maintain MOT safety.
• Work at heights from bucket trucks, scaffolding, ladders and lifts.
• Repair slopes, berms, drains and fender systems as required.
• Transport crew and equipment to work sites using large trucks and trailers.
• Be available for emergency response rotations, overtime, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
