Job summary

The LiRo Group in Edison, NJ is seeking a Senior Bridge Structural Engineer to lead bridge and transportation projects for New Jersey agency clients, with emphasis on NJDOT, NJTA, PANYNJ, and NJ TRANSIT. You will work closely with our NJ bridge leadership to deliver technically sound designs and robust project delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10–15 years of related structural engineering experience with bridges and transportation infrastructure.
• NJ PE license is required; NY PE or additional licensure is a plus.
• Experience with NJDOT standards and bridge inspection is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for bridge and transportation-related structures.
• Lead designer or task lead on simple to moderately complex bridge projects.
• Support project managers with scope, schedule, and budget.
• Mentor junior staff and strengthen local bridge capabilities.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams across offices.
