City of New York’s Department of Transportation, Division of Bridges seeks an Associate Project Manager to lead the BrM platform for bridge inventory, inspection data management, and asset decision‑making. You will oversee data workflows, analytics, and reporting to support capital planning and regulatory compliance, with focus on NBIS standards and cross‑unit collaboration.

Qualifications

• One year of supervisory project management experience in engineering or related projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, or equivalent combination per NYCDOE rules.
• Five years of experience with a high school diploma or equivalent and PM responsibilities if no bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Lead BrM use for bridge condition assessment and life-cycle cost analysis.
• Review NBIS/NBI ratings and inspection findings to prioritize capital projects.
• Prepare scoping packages, evaluations, and prioritization lists for budgets and management briefs.
• Maintain bridge inventory, GIS/location data, and NBIS compliance.
