Job summary

Josh Pros LLC in Richmond, VA seeks a mid-senior Bridge/Structural Engineer with 10+ years of experience and a Professional Engineer license to lead design projects for local, state, and federal transportation programs, focusing on bridges and related structures.

You will lead and grow the Richmond office's bridge engineering team, manage scope, schedule, and budget, and coordinate across disciplines to deliver high-quality outcomes while supporting business development and client relations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with a focus in structural engineering from an ABET accredited engineering program.
• 10+ years of bridge and structural design experience.
• PE License - Professional Engineer (Virginia preferred; other state PE considered if able to obtain Virginia PE within a reasonable timeframe)
• Strong Communication Skills
• Strong Presentation Skills

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the bridge engineering staff in the Richmond, Virginia office.
• Deliver project objectives for bridge and structural design projects including planning, schedule and budget.
• Coordinate and guide technical resources to ensure high-quality outcomes.
• Develop project management plans and quality management plans.
• Identify and manage subconsultants and risks.
• Create and maintain project schedules and progress reports.
• Support business development and client relations initiatives.
