Job summary

HNTB Corporation in St. Louis, MO, seeks a Senior Project Manager – Engineering to lead multi-disciplinary projects from scope to client delivery.

You’ll manage budgets, schedules, design specs, and coordinate teams across offices, mentoring staff and ensuring quality and on-time results. Responsibilities include developing project scope and fees, leading contract negotiations, and guiding technical tasks while partnering with client service leaders to win mega and mega‑mega opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 12 years of relevant experience.
• 4 years of successful management of engineering projects.
• PE certification and MBA are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop project scope and fee quotations, assist in proposals and contracts.
• Manage project team to deliver scope on time and budget.
• Lead contract scoping and negotiations.
• Oversee technical tasks including design, reports, specs.
• Lead the development and execution of the project management plan.
• Mentor and coach staff to achieve objectives.
