Job summary

CHA Consulting, Inc. invites applications for a Senior Bridge Project Manager to lead bridge replacement and repair projects for DOT clients across multiple Northeast locations. This senior level role focuses on design-build delivery, client relationships, and mentoring a multidisciplinary Bridge Team.

The successful candidate will manage scope, budget, schedule, and risk while guiding multidisciplinary teams and pursuing innovative, durable bridge solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering required; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years progressive engineering experience and minimum 8 years project management experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Experience with MassDOT, CTDOT, and/or RIDOT required.
• Strong design-build experience and knowledge of QA/QC procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of bridge replacement and repair project delivery for DOT clients, including scope, budget, and schedule.
• Serve as a seller/doer, developing work with specific clients and leading marketing plan development.
• Lead and mentor other Project Managers, setting vision and strategy for the team.
• Prepare proposals, project plans, extra work authorizations, and closeout documents.
• Track and oversee multiple projects, ensuring quality control and compliance with DOT requirements.
• Interpret client contracts and manage client relationships to meet needs.
