Job summary

KS Engineers, P.C. seeks a Senior Construction Inspector – Bridge to perform inspections of bridges and other structures in New Jersey, ensuring compliance with contract requirements, OSHA rules, and MPT measures on active sites.

The role involves reviewing findings, mentoring inspection staff, maintaining equipment, and staying current with design criteria and inspection standards. A minimum of 7 years in bridge construction and NJDOT experience is preferred; NICET/TCC certifications are valued.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of bridge construction project experience.
• 3+ years NJDOT project experience preferred.
• NICET, TCC, NJSAT, ACI certifications valued.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections of bridges and structures to assess conditions and compliance.
• Review inspection findings and ensure documentation accuracy.
• Ensure OSHA procedures and MPT measures are applied on site.
• Maintain and provide inspection equipment and training guidance to staff.
• Stay current with design criteria, inspection standards, and industry technologies.
• Demonstrate proficiency in engineering, drafting, and inspection software.
