Job summary

WSP is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer - Bridges for the Northern New England Transportation Group in Merrimack, NH or Eliot, ME. You will perform professional structural analysis and design of bridges, lead designs as Engineer of Record, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams on small to large projects.

Expect mentorship, client interaction, and growth within a global practice. The ideal candidate has extensive bridge experience, strong communication, and the ability to guide junior

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in structural/civil engineering or closely related field.
• PE licensure preferred (NH/VT/ME or able to obtain).
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to lead teams and mentor juniors.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and design transportation structures, including bridges and retaining walls.
• Lead bridge designs as Engineer of Record and coordinate with disciplines.
• Prepare plans, specs, quantities, and cost estimates; ensure QA/QC.
• Produce technical reports and presentations to address issues and opportunities.
• Collaborate with clients, subconsultants, and regulatory agencies; stay current with techniques.
