Job summary

WSP is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer - Bridges for the Northern New England Transportation Group, based in Merrimack, NH or Eliot, ME. This senior role delivers technical design for bridge projects and leads aspects of project execution.

You will perform advanced structural analyses, coordinate with disciplines, prepare comprehensive reports, and guide junior engineers while ensuring QA/QC and adherence to codes. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
• 7+ years of post-education experience in engineering with structural or civil design.
• Professional Engineer license, preferably NH, VT or ME or ability to obtain PE.
• Proficient in structural engineering principles and design/build processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design of transportation structures such as bridges and retaining walls.
• Develop plans, specifications, quantities, and cost estimates across project phases.
• Coordinate with disciplines, subconsultants, and Clients; utilize OpenBridge Software.
