Job summary

Fuss & O’Neill, a leading New England-based consulting firm, seeks a Senior Bridge Engineer/Project Manager to lead Vermont bridge projects and collaborate with highway and traffic design teams.

The ideal candidate brings 15+ years of bridge design experience, a PE license, and strong leadership and client management skills for delivering complex transportation projects. Hybrid work option and ongoing professional growth are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a Structural focus.
• PE license in VT/NH/ME or ability to obtain.
• 15+ years of bridge design experience, preferably on Vermont projects.
• Experience managing bridge projects for state DOTs and municipalities.
• Thorough knowledge of AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications.

Responsibilities

• Manage bridge projects for VT, municipal, and public sector clients from initiation through design and construction.
• Lead rehabilitation and replacement bridge projects as primary PM.
• Coordinate with highway and traffic design leads for integrated solutions.
• Develop and monitor budgets, schedules, staffing, and resources.
