WSP USA seeks a Senior Bridge Engineer for our Reno/Carson City, Nevada office to lead the structural engineering discipline within the Transportation Team and deliver high-quality bridge and infrastructure projects.

The role emphasizes managing complex transportation programs, applying advanced structural engineering techniques, and guiding multidisciplinary teams to meet safety standards, client expectations, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering or closely related discipline.
• MS in Civil Engineering with bridge-focused background preferred.
• 12+ years of post-education experience in structural design with emphasis on bridges.
• Experience with Nevada DOT and other Nevada agencies; RTCs, Counties, and Cities.
• NDOT/transportation project management experience; professional engineer license.
• Strong knowledge of seismic modeling and bridge design; advanced structural engineering principles.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive leadership for the structural engineering discipline within the transportation business sector.
• Manage transportation projects and oversee complex bridge structures.
• Apply advanced structural techniques across project phases from concept to operation.
• Lead project teams, budgets, schedules, and client communications.
• Support growth and development of the Nevada structures team and regional pipeline.
