J-U-B ENGINEERS, Inc. is seeking a Senior Bridge Engineer (P.E./S.E.) to join our structures group in a leadership role in Pocatello, Idaho. The role focuses on delivering bridge design packages for diverse clients and leading bridge-related business development.

You will lead technical design, mentor junior staff, coordinate with geotechnical and roadway teams, and manage projects from concept through construction while contributing to growth opportunities within a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience as the lead/senior bridge engineer on transportation projects
• Strong relationships with agency project managers and structural staff
• Track record of successful bridge-related business development efforts
• PE licensure required; SE licensure preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and strategy for business development related to bridges and transportation
• Project and program management of structures projects and programs
• Lead and mentor junior staff (PEs, EITs, interns, designers, drafters)
• Geometric layout of single- and multi-span bridges
• Structural analysis and design of bridges and retaining walls
• Seismic analysis of new and existing bridges
• Prepare structural reports and layout sheets
• Coordinate with geotechnical, roadway, and hydraulic engineers
• Develop specifications and cost opinions
• Review shop drawings and submittals during construction
• Interact with clients to direct project items and deliverables
