J-U-B ENGINEERS, inc. in Salt Lake City, UT seeks a Senior Bridge Engineer (P.E./S.E.) to lead the bridge design team and drive business development for bridge projects.

The role includes delivering structural calculations, drawings, and cost estimates while mentoring junior staff and coordinating with geotechnical and roadway engineers. Qualifications

• Lead/senior bridge engineer on transportation projects.
• Strong relationships with agency project managers and staff.
• Experience in business development related to bridge projects.
• P.E. licensure required; S.E. licensure preferred.
• 20–30 years of bridge engineering experience.
• Expertise with AASHTO LRFD standards and geotechnical coordination.
• Experience creating and reviewing construction documents.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for business development related to structures and transportation.
• Manage and oversee structural calculations, drawings, specs, and cost estimates.
• Mentor PEs, EITs, interns, designers, and drafters.
• Lead geometric layout and design of bridges; seismic analysis for new and existing structures.
• Coordinate with geotechnical, roadway, and hydraulic engineers; develop specs and cost opinions.
• Review shop drawings and submittals; interact with clients to deliver deliverables.
