Qualifications

• Lead/senior bridge engineer on transportation projects
• Strong relationships with agency project managers and structural staff
• Experience in successful outcomes for bridge-related business development
• P.E. licensure required; S.E. licensure preferred
• 20–30 years of bridge engineering experience
• Expertise with AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications
• Ability to interpret geotechnical reports and coordinate with subconsultants
• Experience creating and reviewing construction documents
• Strong communication, planning, and leadership skills

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and strategy for bridge-related business development and for the structures team
• Manage, perform, and oversee structural calculations, drawings, specifications, and cost estimates
• Lead and mentor junior staff (PEs, EITs, interns, designers, drafters)
• Geometric layout and design of single- and multi-span bridges
• Seismic analysis of new and existing bridges
• Prepare structural reports and studies and coordination sheets
• Interact with clients to direct project items and deliverables
