J-U-B ENGINEERS, Inc. is seeking a Senior Bridge Engineer (P.E./S.E.) to lead bridge design and related business development in our Structures group at the Pocatello, ID location.

This role focuses on delivery of bridge design packages for diverse clients and mentoring junior staff within a collaborative team. The position requires licensure as a Professional Engineer; Structural Engineer licensure is preferred and 20–30 years of experience in bridge engineering.

Qualifications

• Experience leading bridge projects and a strong track record in delivering transportation structures.
• Ability to develop strategies for business development related to bridges.
• Experience coordinating with agencies and geotechnical/subconsultant teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and strategy for business development related to structures and transportation, leading marketing and BD for bridge projects.
• Project and program management of structures projects and programs.
• Lead and mentor junior staff such as PEs, EITs, interns, designers, and drafters.
• Geometric layout and structural design of single- and multi-span bridges.
• Seismic analysis of new and existing bridge structures and preparation of reports.
• Coordinate with geotechnical, roadway, and hydraulic engineers; develop specs and cost opinions.
• Review shop drawings and submittals; coordinate with clients to deliver deliverables.
