Pennoni is seeking a Senior Bridge Engineer for the Transportation Division at our Wyoming Valley, PA office.

The ideal candidate will have experience in:

• Managing and leading bridge rehabilitation and/or replacement design projects from inception to completion, coordinating with transportation engineering disciplines such as traffic, highway, geotechnical, civil, and environmental.
• Supervising senior and junior engineers and interacting with clients.
• Completing bridge designs, load ratings, calculations, construction plans, specifications, and schedules for project submissions, including PennDOT Type, Size and Location Submissions, Final Plans, and Estimates.

Required Attributes:

• PE License for Pennsylvania.
• 10+ years of experience.
• Management experience of 4-7 years.
• Proficiency with PennDOT bridge design, analysis, and rating software, STAAD, Microsoft Office, Microstation, and scheduling software.
• Experience with all design phases of bridge repair, rehabilitation, reconstruction, and full replacement projects.
• Strong knowledge of PennDOT standards, design manuals, and modeling software for various bridge types.

Preferred Attributes:

• Excellent communication skills for proposals, specifications, and client interactions.
• Knowledge of PennDOT project management processes.
• NBIS bridge inspection certification and experience is a plus.
