Job description

The Bridge Software Engineer will manage projects or work closely with the Project Manager to monitor and control the project. They will collaborate with the team to understand project insights and communicate with Japanese clients to gather requirements and clarify issues, ensuring no gaps in understanding between the customer and project team. Responsibilities include:

1. Analyzing and transferring requirements to the project team.
2. Verifying and developing design documents.
3. Controlling inbound and outbound project materials.
4. Developing and executing test cases to verify deliverables.
5. Understanding client needs and maintaining good business relationships.

Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in software development, information technology, or related fields.
• Japanese language proficiency equivalent to JLPT N2 or higher.
• At least 3 years of experience as a Bridge Software Engineer, with hands-on experience in writing technical documents in Japanese, giving presentations, and working directly with Japanese clients.
• Software development skills including design, coding, testing, with good programming knowledge of full-stack development (Java, React, Angular, etc.).
• Knowledge of UI/UX design tools like Figma is an advantage.
• Strong requirement analysis, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Well-organized, creative, and capable of multitasking.
• Proficiency in English is a plus.
