Job summary

Consor is seeking a Bridge Design Project Manager with a passion for transportation engineering to lead large-scale bridge projects and federally-funded initiatives for state and local clients. You will guide staff and consultants, apply advanced engineering concepts, and build client relationships to grow the company’s project delivery capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required.
• P.E. License in good standing required.
• Minimum of 8 years of related professional experience, with at least 2 years designing and delivering transportation projects as Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager.
• Strong communication skills required.
• Collaborative and proactive approach to work.
• Proficiency in Bridge Design and Analysis software needed.

Responsibilities

• Plans, develops, coordinates and directs a number of large and complex bridge projects.
• Plan and deliver federally-funded projects for State and Local Agency clients.
• Serve as a staff/technical specialist in advanced theories and methods for resolving engineering problems.
• Plans, organizes, and directs the work of a staff of engineers and technicians.
• May serve as resident engineer and/or structure representative on construction projects.
• May supervise staff engineers, including evaluating progress and determining actions to achieve objectives.
• Develop and foster relationships with a network of contacts and clients for future projects.
