Job summary

Consor is seeking a Bridge Design Lead in a hybrid role that blends office and field work in Texas. You will guide bridge design, oversee multi-disciplinary coordination, and ensure standards compliance across projects.

With a PE license and 10+ years of experience, you will mentor engineers, drive quality, and manage design deliverables within schedule and budget. Proficiency in MicroStation ORD, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D is required.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil/Structural Engineering required; MS preferred.
• PE license required; ability to obtain licensure in additional states.
• 10+ years of progressive structural/bridge design experience, incl. TxDOT projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation and review of bridge design plans, calculations, and reports.
• Apply standards and best practices for compliant, cost-effective designs.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and agencies.
• Perform analyses, cost estimates, and quantity takeoffs for planning.
• Direct QA/QC and respond to stakeholder comments.
• Mentor junior engineers and ensure design consistency across the team.
