Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related technical discipline from an ABET accredited curriculum.
• At least 7 years of professional Civil Engineering experience, preferably with Transportation/Bridge Design projects.
• Experience working on transportation, roadway projects, or similar.
• Experience in analysis and all design phases of bridge repair, rehabilitation and construction.
• NBIS bridge inspection certification and bridge inspection experience a plus.
• Demonstrated experience in finite element analysis using CSI Bridge, LUSAS, STAAD, SAP2000 or similar modeling software is a plus.
• MicroStation and/or AutoCAD experience.

Aufgaben

• Serve as the bridge lead in preparing bridge designs, load ratings, construction plans, specifications and estimates for project submissions (e.g., Final Plans, Final Plans Submissions, and the package).
• Perform and oversee structural analysis and design of Bridges, Culverts, and Retaining Walls on various projects, coordinating with other transportation disciplines.
• Assist with bridge inspection tasks for NBIS inspections and transportation projects for multiple clients in the Mid-Atlantic region.
