Job summary

AMT Engineering is seeking a Structural / Bridge Engineer located in Mechanicsburg, PA, or other office locations. The successful candidate will have 4+ years of experience in bridge design and analysis and will work on various structural transportation projects including highway and pedestrian bridges.

The role involves performing structural analysis, preparing design plans, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and conducting inspections. Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and a PE license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited institution.
• Professional Engineer (PE) licensure or ability to obtain in 6 months.
• 4+ years of experience in bridge design and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and performs structural analysis and design plans for bridge projects.
• Maintains knowledge of state DOT and local agency design standards.
• Serves in a lead technical role on structural design projects.
