Job summary

Consor is seeking a principal bridge design engineer to lead technical guidance for due diligence, investigation, remediation, and construction of load-bearing structures. The position reports to the design manager and operates in a hybrid office-field setting in California.

You will oversee bridge analysis and design from concept to construction, collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, and drive high-quality project delivery within schedule and budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum fifteen years of transportation engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Proficiency in Microstation, AutoCad, and Civil3D software.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support on a variety of bridge projects.
• Lead successful delivery of high-quality projects within budget and on schedule.
• Collaborate with others and lead transportation and bridge teams in all aspects of bridge analysis and design, from conceptual planning and preliminary design to final design and construction.
• Identify, creative and innovative engineering solutions based on client, project, and site constraints.
