Job summary

Consor in Walnut Creek, CA is seeking a principal bridge design engineer to guide due diligence, investigation, remediation, and construction of bridges and transportation structures.

You will lead design teams from concept through final design, report to the design manager, and bring 15+ years of transportation experience, a PE license, a BS in Civil/Structural Engineering, and proficiency in Microstation, AutoCad, and Civil3D.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum fifteen years of transportation engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Proficiency in Microstation, AutoCad, and Civil3D software.
• Hybrid job environment with office and field exposure.
• Physical demands include sitting, standing, and lifting up to 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support on a variety of bridge projects.
• Lead successful delivery of high-quality projects within budget and on schedule.
• Collaborate with teams and lead transportation and bridge teams from concept to final design and construction.
• Identify creative engineering solutions based on client, project, and site constraints.
