CTL Engineering in Charlotte, NC seeks a Sr. Bridge Engineer to lead design and analysis of highway bridge structures, ensuring safety and compliance with NCDOT standards.

You will manage projects from conception through completion and mentor junior engineers within a collaborative, cross-functional team. You should have a Civil Engineering degree, a NC PE license, 10–15+ years of bridge experience, and proficiency with LARSA, Merlin Dash, Leap Bridge, and MicroStation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in North Carolina
• 10–15+ years of bridge engineering experience, with NCDOT focus

Responsibilities

• Lead bridge design and analysis projects per NCDOT requirements
• Perform structural analysis and design for various bridge types
• Prepare and review engineering reports, drawings, and specs
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Ensure projects meet budget and schedule constraints
• Conduct field inspections and evaluate existing conditions
• Mentor junior engineers and support staff
• Maintain knowledge of NCDOT policies and industry best practices
