Qualifications

• Minimum of 5-7 years of bridge experience in Heavy/Highway/Bridge construction.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to include strong verbal and written communication.
• Must possess knowledge of FDOT contracts, specifications, and reports.
• Must be able to think independently and solve problems effectively.
• Must be able to interpret crane load charts.
• Must be able to erect/set grade for bridge deck screed.
• Must possess knowledge of proper crane hand signals and proper rigging techniques.
• Must have an excellent driving record.

Responsibilities

• Manage and schedule bridge foremen and subcontractors.
• Assist estimators and engineers with quantities and productions.
• Manage all the construction activities of the project in accordance with contract specifications and drawings and in full compliance with applicable safety and environmental regulations.
• Execute construction activities in compliance with the applicable schedule and budget.
• Review project performance on a continuing basis and recommend to project manager corrective actions as required.
• Implement the Company policies and procedures as required.
• Assist with On-the-Job Training.
