- Willingness to travel with appropriate accommodation and ability to supervise direct reports
Responsibilities
- The Bridge Asset Engineer reviews asset data and develops fiscally balanced maintenance plans to keep approximately 800 bridges in the Fort Wayne District in good repair
- Serves as the district's bridge expert
- Supervises a Culvert Asset Engineer and two Small Culvert Inspectors
- Provides engineering recommendations for complex maintenance and rehabilitation projects
