Job summary

The SpartanNash YMCA in Michigan is seeking an Associate Executive Director to oversee day-to-day operations of the branch, programs, staff, membership services, and facilities. The role drives operational excellence and member engagement through high-quality services while ensuring safety and compliance.

You will supervise staff, manage budgets, support fundraising efforts, and foster community partnerships to grow and sustain the Y’s impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of supervision, program development, budget management, fundraising, and community collaboration.
• Proven expertise in staff development, supervision, quality assurance, fiscal management and budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Partners with staff to develop and monitor programs and membership growth.
• Lead program development and community engagement initiatives.
• Oversee budgets, financial performance, and procurement.
• Support fundraising efforts and annual campaign goals.
• Supervise directors and frontline staff; conduct performance reviews.
• Ensure safety, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
