SourcePro Search, LLC is seeking a Bookkeeper/Staff Accountant for a Personal Injury Law Firm in NYC. The role emphasizes QuickBooks proficiency, IOLA account handling, and strong trust accounting experience.

You will collaborate directly with the CFO and support financial reporting and budgeting. Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in bookkeeping/accounting within a law firm setting, attention to detail, and the ability to work in-office five days a week.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of bookkeeping/accounting experience.
• Experience in a law firm or personal injury practice.
• Strong QuickBooks skills.
• Knowledge of IOLA accounts.
• Knowledge of trust accounting principles.
• Ability to work independently with leadership.

Responsibilities

• Manage IOLA accounts, including trust reconciliations and compliance.
• Handle QuickBooks transactions, including invoices, expense tracking, and reconciliations.
• Review and process Amex statements, vendor payments, and firm expenses.
• Work closely with the CFO on financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Prepare client invoices and manage billing inquiries.
• Meet with clients regarding billing and financial matters.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance.
