Moore, Beauston & Woodham, LLC (MBW) seeks an experienced accounting professional to manage the general ledger, reconciliations, and AP/AR processes. You will prepare journal entries and assist with month-end close, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred; relevant experience considered.
• 3–5+ years bookkeeping or accounting experience required.
• Strong grasp of generally accepted accounting principles and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger and ensure timely recording of transactions.
• Perform monthly reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Handle accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, and vendor coordination.
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, and financial adjustments.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes and reporting.
• Assist with internal reporting and external audit support.
• Monitor cash flow and budgeting; identify process improvements.
• Utilize accounting software and emerging tools to improve efficiency.
