Moore Beauston & Woodham LLC CPAs (MBW) is seeking a Staff Accountant to build a strong foundation in public accounting alongside experienced professionals on a diverse client portfolio.

You will gain hands-on experience in tax, accounting, and advisory services while developing technical and professional skills for long-term career growth. Active CPA candidate or CPA license preferred; Bachelor's in Accounting required; 1–2 years public accounting experience preferred.

Formación

• Active CPA candidate or CPA license preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• 1–2 years public accounting experience preferred, with exposure to tax prep and accounting services.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statement prep.

Responsabilidades

• Tax Preparation & Compliance: Prepare individual, corporate, partnership, and fiduciary tax returns with accuracy.
• Accounting & Advisory Support: Assist with financial statement prep and provide accounting and business consulting support.
• Bookkeeping & Financial Reporting: Perform bookkeeping, account reconciliations and journal entries.
• Client Collaboration: Communicate with clients to obtain documentation and provide excellent service.
• Engagement Support: Collaborate with senior staff to complete engagements on time and with quality.
• Technology & Process Improvement: Use QuickBooks and firm software to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Professional Development: Seek mentorship and continuous learning opportunities.
