H&R Block is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to handle bookkeeping, payroll, and client service. You will contribute to delivering our brand purpose to provide help and inspire communities.

You will post transactions, reconcile accounts, generate financial statements, and process payroll while communicating with clients and vendors. This role also supports client retention and growth opportunities within a supportive, growth-oriented team.

Qualifications

• Post financial transactions to subsidiary books and general ledgers.
• Balance and reconcile accounts.
• Generate and analyze financial statements.
• Prepare and process payroll.
• Generate 1099s and W2s; calculate and prepare tax statements.
• Communicate with clients, client suppliers, vendors and banking contacts.
• Assist in client retention and client growth opportunities.
