Job summary

King of Kings Business & Tax Advisory in Atlanta, GA is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper & Payroll Specialist for an in-person role. You will manage bookkeeping for multiple clients, perform reconciliations, and ensure accurate financial records with minimal supervision.

This is not entry-level. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of hands-on experience, strong QuickBooks Online and payroll processing skills, and the ability to handle month-end close and financial reporting.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on bookkeeping/accounting experience.
• Strong QuickBooks Online experience required
• Strong payroll processing experience required
• Solid understanding of P&L and Balance Sheet accounts
• Experience with reconciliations and month-end close
• Knowledge of payroll taxes and reporting; ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines independently
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly bookkeeping for multiple clients
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
• Review and properly categorize transactions
• Maintain Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
• Review Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet accounts for accuracy
• Identify, research, and correct accounting discrepancies independently
• Complete month-end closing and prepare financial reports
• Process weekly, biweekly, and monthly payroll
• Manage payroll changes, bonuses, deductions, and reimbursements
• Review payroll tax filings, W-2s, and quarterly reports
• Communicate professionally with clients
