Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East in partnership with a local CPA firm seeks a Senior Bookkeeper / Payroll Specialist in Klamath Falls, OR for a full-time evaluation hire. You will manage books for multiple clients and lead cleanup and catch-up work.

You will reconcile accounts, prepare financial statements, and support tax preparation, while handling payroll processing and payroll reporting with a professional team.

Qualifications

• Experience as a full-charge or senior bookkeeper.
• Strong understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
• Experience with QuickBooks; QuickBooks ProAdvisor is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain accurate books for multiple clients and companies.
• Perform bookkeeping cleanup and catch-up projects, including disorganized or incomplete records.
• Reconcile bank, credit card, and loan accounts.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
• Establish and organize bookkeeping systems, charts of accounts, and workflows.
• Prepare and review financial statements and reports.
• Help ensure financial records are accurate and ready for tax preparation.
• Support payroll processing and payroll-related reporting.
