H&R Block in McMinnville, OR is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to handle day-to-day bookkeeping, payroll and client service. You will post financial transactions, reconcile accounts, and generate financial statements to help clients stay compliant.

Ideal candidate has 1–3 years of bookkeeping experience, knowledge of GAAP, and strong organizational skills. Experience with Xero is a plus; certification from National Bookkeeping Association preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of bookkeeping experience.
• Knowledge of bookkeeping practices and GAAP.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to communicate with clients, vendors and banking contacts.

Responsabilités

• Post financial transactions into subsidiary books and general ledgers.
• Reconcile and balance accounts.
• Generate and analyze financial statements.
• Prepare and process payroll.
• Generate 1099s and W2s and prepare tax statements.
• Communicate with clients and banking contacts.
• Assist in client retention and growth opportunities.
