Job summary

The Breckenridge Outdoor Education Center (BOEC) in Breckenridge, Colorado seeks a Senior Bookkeeper and Office Administrator to support finance and day-to-day office operations. This part-time, non-exempt role reports to the Finance Director and handles full-cycle accounts payable and receivable, revenue tracking, and audit preparation using QuickBooks, Ramp, Salesforce, and Kulturra.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive bookkeeping and office administration experience, nonprofit experience preferred.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks (accrual) and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with vendor management, procurement, and financial controls.

Responsibilities

• Process full-cycle accounts payable with proper coding and payments via QuickBooks and Ramp.
• Review and manage employee expense workflows and receipts in Ramp; enforce documentation standards.
• Maintain vendor records and handle seasonal staff reimbursements and 501(c)(3) documentation.
• Log, reconcile and attach revenue to bank deposits in QuickBooks; reconcile Salesforce and Kulturra invoicing.
• Assist Finance Director with monthly reports, bank reconciliations, and revenue recognition using Salesforce and QuickBooks.
• Coordinate with Marketing to ensure retail inventory accuracy; perform monthly journal entries and reconciliations.
• Train staff on credit card policies; support field staff on financial procedures and petty cash reconciliation.
