Job summary

RecruitMyMom is seeking a remote Senior Bookkeeper / Accountant for a boutique accounting firm, six hours per day, handling accounting for a portfolio of clients including personal tax, company tax, and provisional tax. You will also prepare year-end journals and financials.

Responsibilities include monthly client accounting, tax submissions, maintaining records, month-end close, AR/AP management, VAT/GST where applicable, resolving discrepancies, provisional tax calculations, and payroll

Qualifications

• Accounting qualification is an added advantage.
• At least 8 years’ proven experience as a bookkeeper.
• Strong working knowledge of SAGE and PASTEL.

• Assist with month-end close procedures and preparation of financial reports

• Investigate and resolve discrepancies and accounting issues
• Assist with provisional tax calculations and submissions
• Handle payroll processing (depending on experience)

This is a remote position.

A boutique accounting firm is looking to recruit a remote Senior Bookkeeper / Accountant, working six hours per day. You will work for a portfolio of clients doing accounting, personal tax, company tax and provisional tax. You will also be required to do year-end journals and financials.
