Job summary

Golden Pavilion Healthcare in Daly City, CA, seeks a Senior Business Office Manager (BOM) to lead the business office for a 239-bed skilled nursing facility. You will supervise two assistants, oversee A/R, payroll, and billing, and ensure accurate financial records and regulatory compliance.

The role requires SNF business office leadership, Medicare/Medicaid knowledge, strong A/R skills, and PCC experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Business Office Manager or equivalent leadership role in a skilled nursing facility.
• Experience with Medicare, Medi-Cal/Medicaid, managed care, and private pay.
• Strong A/R and collections experience.
• Experience with resident accounts and financial reconciliation.
• Payroll and accounts payable experience.
• PCC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily business office operations for the facility.
• Supervise and support two Business Office Assistants.
• Oversee accounts receivable, collections, and resident accounts.
• Manage Medicare, Medi-Cal/Medicaid, managed care, and private-pay billing.
• Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Oversee payroll, accounts payable, invoicing, and financial records.
• Ensure accurate billing, payments, adjustments, and reconciliations.
• Work with residents and families regarding financial accounts and billing questions.
• Partner with facility leadership and corporate support teams.
• Maintain compliance with regulations and company policies.
• Support audits and ensure accurate business office documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve collections and office processes.
