Job summary
United Therapeutics Corporation seeks a Senior Boiler Operator, Engineering & Maintenance to oversee critical boiler, chiller, and wastewater systems in a 24/7 cGMP facility at our Silver Spring, MD site. You will troubleshoot complex equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications
- H.S. Diploma or GED required.
- 6+ years in a maintenance or facilities role.
- Active Maryland Stationary Engineer Grade 1 or DC 3rd Class Engineer certification; must obtain Maryland wastewater license.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Proficient PC skills; CMMS software experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Maintain boilers, chillers, steam systems and waste water treatment equipment.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance with proper documentation in CMMS.
- Inspect safety, electrical, HVAC, and life-safety systems; monitor water chemistry.
- Mentor and train technicians; coordinate with contractors and vendors.
- Participate in after-hours on-call rotation to ensure continuous operation.
- Support special projects including demolition and new construction.
